Summing up the course of the pandemic, the most common diseases associated with coronavirus infection are diabetes mellitus, diseases of the cardiovascular system and obesity. In addition, the announcement of quarantine around the world contributed to the appearance of overweight in most citizens.

It is known that the modern world of food marketing is lashed with bright wrappers of not always healthy food products. Children are most susceptible to such temptations and, one might say, are at risk in this area, which leads to corresponding results. Scientists from Bradford (England) have compiled a rough picture of the development of obesity from an early age. The most vulnerable group of children included the child population from the South Asian belt.

Researchers are conducting a project to prevent obesity by growing plants, active physical activity in the fresh air, and taking regular walks. Representatives of different professions take part in this project. It brings together policy makers, communities, schools, city planners, transport experts and, of course, researchers to develop and test whole systems approaches to combat obesity.

At the moment, obesity poses a fairly serious threat to public health, thereby contributing to the development of many diseases. Therefore, in this work, the main goal is the massive coverage of the entire population with measures to prevent it, because the fight against obesity is the key to a healthy nation.
