Alec Carpenter from Stowmarket (UK) was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma in 2016. Then the doctors told the parents that the son had no more than two weeks to live. After all, tumor foci were also found in the chest, liver, stomach, spine, skin, bones and lungs.

Alec has undergone four surgeries since his diagnosis and is now in remission (relief of symptoms). The boy's mother went through difficult years, she looks at his achievements with tears.

Therefore, cancer treatment operations left him with Horner's Syndrome, that is, he cannot control his body temperature, has weak hands, and has a sluggish eye.

Alec is from a simple family, which all this time they did not give up, actively taking care of the health of their son and doing everything so that he did not lag behind his peers. The boy studied in a special preschool institution, succeeding in the curriculum, where his success exceeded all expectations, especially, which undoubtedly was a great happiness for his parents.

Despite the fact that Alec did not have the same stamina and energy compared to his peers, through the efforts of the boy and his parents, he managed to achieve success in his studies. In an interview, his mother also mentioned that finding a school for Alec was difficult due to his additional care needs, but his parents wanted to give their son the opportunity to live a normal life, including schooling.

Doctors' predictions about oncological and other diseases do not always correspond to reality, therefore the most important thing is not to give up and fight the disaster that is taking place, continuing to believe in the best outcome.
