The 22-year-old has become a famous person, not only because of her victories in athletics (she won double gold at the European Championships last year), but also because she achieved the above victories, despite the bronchial asthma taking place.

Gemma keeps his illness under control and says that as the body grows, a person learns to control and love his body. On the way of her sports career, she met many children with asthma, who said "no" to sports because of the illness, but she, despite the admonitions of doctors, still went to sports.

Now, given the epidemic situation around the world, Gemma is one of the most vulnerable group of people to coronavirus infection. Despite months of isolation, the athlete continued training with her partner.

Gemma wishes all novice athletes not to give up on their cherished dream, learn to control and love their body, hear and feel it, give him a rest when he needs it, not be afraid and go forward, reaching ever greater heights in sports activities.
