Introduction

In the modern world, infertility is an urgent medical and social problem. Infertility is a global problem that affects about 15% of married couples, which are approximately 48.5 million couples worldwide. Every year about 20 thousand couples are infertile in Kazakhstan. This diagnosis is not a problem of one family; it is a country problem, as it affects demographic indicators. When expensive medicines and procedures do not help, people begin to turn to nature for help. A little leech can solve problems such as infertility. Hirudotherapy - a treatment with medical leeches - has no analogues among modern methods of treatment. The use of leeches in medicine has been practiced around the world since ancient times. The very first practice of leech therapy (hirudotherapy) appeared in Egypt 3500 years ago. For a long time, hirudotherapy belonged to alternative medicine, but at present in many countries this method of treatment is recognized as official. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) agency of the United States Department, one of the federal executive departments, approved leeches as a medical device in 2004. The leech is included in the list of medicines. Hirudotherapy received universal recognition in the medicine of Europe and Russia at the end of the 18th century and the beginning of the 20th century. Interest in leeches flared up with renewed vigor only in the 1990s, scientific studies carried out on the action mechanisms of leeches on humans. Scientists John Haycraft, 1884 discovered an enzyme - hirudin from leech saliva, which has an anticoagulant effect. These studies laid the foundation for the scientific use of leeches in medicine. Today it is known that the therapeutic effect of hirudotherapy is due to the actions of 120 biological active substances, 20 amino acids, and 76 enzymes.

Goal

The aim of the practical work was to cure patients with a diagnosis of primary and secondary female infertility using hirudotherapy and classical medicine.

Materials and research methods.

The treatment consisted of three stages:

The first step is anti-inflammatory treatment with antibiotics, depending on the infection.

The second step is to cleanse the intestines and gallbladder using phyto-preparations.

The third step - hirudotherapy was applied according to the scheme. Three body sessions and five sessions.

Results and their discussion

As a result of the study, it can be assumed that with an integrated approach to infertility treatment, we can be obtained good results. For this study were selected 9 patients with a diagnosis of primary and secondary infertility, also with complex anamnesis. In these women, the duration of infertility was from 2 to 23 years. The age of the women ranged from 29 to 44 years. A complex treatment was carried out: cleansing with the use of phytotherapy, antibacterial treatment and hirudotherapy with leeches on the body and intravaginally. The duration of the course varied from 3 weeks to 4 months. In 9 women, pregnancy occurred from 1 to 4 months. Pregnancy went well and healthy children were born.

Conclusion

Hirudotherapy in gynecology is of great importance. Important problems of our time are infertility and chronic female diseases. What doctors have not been able to cure for years can be cured with the help of hirudotherapy. These are not empty words and promises, but real stories of women who have been cured.
