A study was conducted on the use of the drug Berzosertib, where 40 patients were involved, and in half of these patients a positive effect was found - stopping tumor growth. According to the Institute for Cancer Research (ICR) and the Royal Marsden NHS Trust, combining Berzosertib with chemotherapy was more effective than the same drugs alone.

This test was conducted to verify the safety of Berzosertiba. The drug has the ability to block a protein involved in repairing the DNA of tumor cells, and this type of treatment is a new proven method. Preventing cancer cells from damaging healthy cells in the body is part of the precision medicine industry that targets genes and their associated genetic changes.

This study involved patients with very common tumors for whom there was no other treatment. However, further trials and studies of the drug's efficacy are needed to ensure that critically ill patients are cured.

According to Professor Lord, Berzosertib is able to act on tumor cells without affecting other healthy cells. This precision medicine approach targets a genetic abnormality in a tumor, no matter where it is located. Used alone, it can provide a less aggressive option than chemotherapy, which targets cells indiscriminately.

Today, the topic of the treatment of malignant tumors is very relevant and is the primary task of curing such patients. Modern medicine does not stand still, there are numerous studies in this area, and it is necessary to maximally involve all medical organizations in the world to create an "elixir" for cancer.
