American epidemiologists believe that the number of cases of CoViD-19 infection may increase signigicantly during the flu season in autumn, and it will be difficult to track contacts, which will cause irreparable damage to the U.S. economy, education and health care system. Implementing a "less sensitive but more practical" test for antigens may help solve the situation, but it will also require significant financial investment.
The DSA-090 device for molecular analysis of volatile organic compounds in exhaled gases has no such disadvantages.
